Vittoria are my go to tires. Grippier than other reputable competitors on loose terrain. Compliant, offering extra damping and comfort to hardtail owners. I run 22/24 psi with inner tubes. Durable, rear Mezcal good for 4.300 km, front Barzo for 6.500 km. Low rolling resistance. But tan walls version tread does not offer protection against thorns.

This is the second Mezcal tubless tire that I have purchased to replace the other similar one and with 400km, it had good tread but a hole in the sidewall was impossible to treat with wicks or another type of material, it is not possible to patch it for use with liquid. The temporary solution was to install an air chamber and the area of the tire reinforced with rubber until the new one was fitted and I could enjoy this tire again. It's a good, beautiful tire and at a good price.
