Great boots for trekking

I'll start the description with the most important thing when choosing in an online store - with the size. My foot is 270 mm long, the instep is low and it is rather narrow or standard. Thanks to the response from the support team on the Boreal website, I was right about the size. Bought size UK 9.5 (EUR 44) - 278 mm If given the opportunity, I would try the UK 10 for comparison. The size fits perfectly, but on the descent, the toes slightly touch the toe, just a little. This is not critical, considering that I only wore them once. They look very neat on the leg and look elegant, the designers have tried on points. Nice combination of gray and red. The boot looks very durable from a single piece of leather. Weight 730 gr each.Excellent fittings, looks very neat, the laces are also excellent (look at the manufacturer's recommendation on the booklet in the box on how to lace the boot correctly). The heel is well fixed, a recess is specially made for it. The ankle is fixed quite high, but this does not interfere with the inclination of the foot during descent and ascent. The fixation of the joint is very caring, strong. The sole is grippy, the rubber is moderately hard, the outsole pattern also inspires confidence and reliability. The sole is slightly arched, which accelerates the step when walking in a straight line. Strong rubber heel and toe protection with increased area around the big toe.At the same time, when walking, the rubber protection of the front part does not fall into the toe bend zone. The boots are very well made and at such a low price! I think these are great boots that will fit right down to the level of the snow.

Boreal, always on top. Very good quality shoes, far superior to Salomon. Excellent finish. Sufficiently flexible, stiff just enough. To walk far and long. My third pair of Boreal, probably not the last.
