Hello, what does it mean that it is a folding tire?

I had to send mine back as it was not a folding tyre! It is wire bead. Folding = Kevlar bead which allows tyre to be folded. Wire = rigid bead so tyre is shipped round and cannot be folded. I think their wording is not correct for the price. Folding is more expensive than wire bead.
