A lightweight vest with a wind- and light rain-resistant fabric on the front and a highly breathable fabric on the back. Versatile and ready for a wide range of conditions depending on the base layer you use with it.
It was on the Flemish walls that this garment was tested and retested by highly experienced cyclists and by the pros themselves. In this new version, Fiandre Light retains its front protection and resistance to light rain. The bottom in the back is longer for more rain coverage and a more comfortable fit. The construction of the collar has also been improved with greater attention to the shape. NoRain technology allows sweat to escape without allowing rain in. If it’s perfect for Flanders, this garment has no limits.

Excellent quality but tight fit

Sportful is part of the Castelli family, so one might think the sizing would be the same. But Sportful is a little smaller, IMHO. Armpit holes are a little smaller and vest is very close to chest. Not a bad thing for aero, but look carefully at size chart. Chart suggests an L for me, but XL was needed. 178cm, 77kg, 97cm chest, 86cm waist.

The vest is light, pleasantly simple and very functional, like all Sportful Fiandre jackets. The long back tail, which fits nicely even with filled pockets, is also pleasant. With a height of 180 cm, a weight of 75 kg and a chest circumference of 107 cm, the XL fits perfectly.
