I bought it in the size of 27.5x2.6 to replace the continental cross king that had crooked in a couple of months. Fits great on the rim. The rolling resistance is much less, the grip in corners is better than the Conti. And most importantly - it is even! Very happy with the purchase!

Very good tire, as they say around here for the rear, I have not tested at the front. I bought it a second time, maybe a third time. To put a but ... maybe it is not very affordable for wet terrain, but it is just a feeling of mine. But it feels good overall, for xc / trail discipline.

In my case, I came from mounting a Saguaro behind, but since there was no 2.6 model, I proceeded to try the Mezcal. The behavior is very similar when it comes to rolling and grip, so I am very happy. Good grip-roll ratio

I bought these in 2.6” width to replace the Maxiss 2.8" tyres that came on my hardtail. I wanted something faster rolling as many of my rides involve at least some road and hard packed tracks such as towpaths or similar at some point and wanted to try a faster tyre hoping to gain some pace on this ground without losing when properly off road. I also sometimes commute to work on my bike. I have only ridden them once but it was a very wet and muddy ride so a good test of grip and I was quite worried they wouldn't be that great but they were surprisingly good. They did squirm in the gloopy mud a couple of times but no more than my previous tyres would have and narrower tyres again may have been better but I wanted to maintain some volume being hardtail. I'm not really an overly aggressive rider and always felt my previous tyres were a bit overkill for my riding but these suited my riding fine. I'm also not the fittest person but I definitely noticed a difference in rolling resistance and speed on the firmer ground and feel this is of more benefit to me than what little grip I may have lost if I have lost any grip at all. Fitting tubeless was relatively straight forward but I did need to use my tubeless inflator tank which I didn't need for the Maxiss tyres but had bought anyway thinking I would when I went tubeless. Overall I'm happy with these tyres and think they are a better fit to my Trail riding and abilities and hopefully I will get to test them out on some more wet rocky and root strewn trails soon. As always the service from bikeinn was superb.
