The best trail riding gear adapts to changing terrain. Thats the idea behind the Super 3R. Its designed for the varying demands of all-mountain riding, which includes long, grinder climbs at low speeds and wide-open descents on rowdy trails. A removable chin bar makes the Super 3R uniquely suited to the all-mountain experience. Basically, you get two helmets in one. For long climbs, remove the chin bar and stow it in your pack. And when its time for more aggressive riding, you can quickly lock it on, no tools required. The Float Fit system is lighter and more comfortable with a rubber over-molded dial, plus this year No-Twist Tri-Glides have been adopted for added ease of adjustment. Other trail-specific features include our GoggleGuide Adjustable Visor, a breakaway camera mount and Overbrow Ventilation. The Super 3R includes MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System), which can provide an additional measure of protection in certain impacts.

A revelation, I highly recommend it, very versatile due to the removable guard. I bought for my son 13 years old. Previously he had the same model only S, now we bought M´ka.

The Bell Super 3R is one of the best helmets on the market, where it’s being used for downhill or x country. It can be adapted to the situation. It does carry a higher price tag, but it is worth the money. This is the 3rd Super 3R in our household. I would suggest this helmet to anyone asking for helmet advise. Because of the price tag it’s best to search around for the best price available. Try one today, you won’t be disappointed.

Well , it provide the flexibility between full-face and normal mountain bike helmet. Which is good because you don't need to bring another helmet when you rides on a difficult technical trail for practice. Then you are back to normal. But not for BMX racing or downhill.

I don´t know how to read the size chart. Please tell me the head circumference for L size.

My head circumference is about 61 cm. And the helmet fits me well. The size was L. The same size from other manufacturers did not fit me.

Hello friend, I had the same confusion. The size chart that you should use is the one below the description in gray. M: 50cm - 57cm L: 58cm - 60cm You must measure your head with a tape measure as if you were wearing a king´s crown and measure the diameter of your head by making a single turn. In my case, I measured 56 cm in diameter and I bought size M and it fit me great because it has a variable adjuster with a knob.
