10mm axle, 8.5cm width, can be supplemented with M10 washers if the seat on your bike is wider (they usually flex without problems). Perfectly centered, robust, turning a little rough but that improves over time and does not affect the running order in the slightest with the weight on the bike. For the price they have, it is the best there is in the entire internet offer.

Bearings sometimes poorly adjusted, but the rim and the rest are of good quality, the bearings improve over time.

I'm looking for a 12" wheel with a hub width max 60mm. Am I right in understanding that this one is wider? If so, do you have a suitable wheel please?

The silver and widest part measures about 6 cm. However, adding the interior nuts (which close the bearings) means that a space of about 8.5 cm is necessary to accommodate the wheel. I was looking for one with a narrower hub (and a reasonable price) and couldn´t find it. The one called Rear Wheel from the same manufacturer is even wider. I also tried to get this information by calling and writing and got no response. In the end this wheel worked for me by making some modifications to the bike.

I bought a 12´ inch wheel with a hub width of 60mm. However, the installation dimension is much more important for many customers, including me. So the axle with its hub nuts was only allowed to be 85mm for me (fork width). And that was a direct hit with this provider.

This is an excellent wheel and would suit rim brakes. A little problem with the 12" wheel I purchased was that the locking nuts on both sides must have been tightened by a machine. They had been over-tightened so much that the balls were graunching and the bearings in the wheel would have worn very badly in a very short time. It took two us us, using long levers on two spanners and a very strong engineering vice, considerable effort to release the nuts enough to ensure that the wheel revolved freely as it should have been adjusted correctly by the manufacturer. We were not able to separate the locking nuts from the bearing cones as they seem to have fused together.on both sides. Other than that, the only other problem is that of fitting a 12" tyre on such a small diameter rim - gone are the days of fitting 27" racing tyres onto an aluminium rim by hand - be very careful with the tyre levers so as not to mark the aluminium rim. All in all though, you should be happy with this wheel.

Hi, If the former rim is 12 inches, then that rim fits that bike, if the brakes are attached to the frame, there are no brakes on the rim. TV, Lauri
