Shimano XC1 MTB Shoes present us with a simple model but it also is very comfortable, safe, stable, durable, lightweight, breathable, and with the best traction in pedals and terrains for the practice of mountain biking.
These cycling shoes are made with a rubber outsole with an XC race pattern and a midsole with reinforced nylon with glass fiber that promotes stable sensation, excellent energy transfer, and lightness. The SPD system increases control of pedaling in a different style of driving, while the Dynalast Shimano technology reduces effort.
The upper has synthetic leather with perforations that allow greater breathability and thanks to wrapped construction, you will feel better support. These mountain biking boots include three Velcro straps that are responsible for holding the foot comfortably and safely.
The Shimano XC100 MTB shoes offer features of more expensive shoes in a more economical variant. The three Velcro closures reduce pressure and tension over the foot, but provide enough support to transfer power to the pedals.

They are very thin wrap around your feet, not so bulky. Once I have heard they are good fit. Some other brands I had them tight, but shimano are consistent.

This model wears very small, it has to be 2 sizes larger than usual. For 44/45 it has to be 47 otherwise fic mt right up front.

Shimanos rarely have problems. And this time, all expectations were met. Excellent quality. Comfortably sit on the leg. But as always shimano runs small in size. I had to take this pair 1 size up. Instead of 42, I took 43.

I haven't had this sneaker for a long time but it looks tough, it's comfortable, it fits snugly and the price is great. For those who ride in hot climates, it could be a little more ventilated, but that's not a problem.

Unbeatable value for money! Excellent fit and design from a much higher end shoe. A tip: if you have a half size as a standard size, do not stop at half size more but go one size and a half more. In fact, that I am 43.5 I had initially taken a 44 thinking it was enough, but I was forced to return and take the 45 because although the length of the 44 was also sufficient, the tapered shape of the shoe tightened the foot too much. Perhaps with use and normal failure, the 44 would have been good in the end, but at the cost of initial pain that I didn't want to run. The 45 instead turned out to be a perfect size.
