The Sram GX Eagle Rear Derailleur has been designed for a maximum of 52 teeth and 12 speeds, that’s why it can handle complex terrains, climbs and descents of mountain biking. It is equipped with a bearing clutch that avoids chain bounce and bumps.
This bike rear derailleur is made of aluminum and the pulley bearings are made of steel. The AXS system allows connection to an application so you can be aware os the state of the battery or when it needs maintenance. The X HORIZON allows for faster and effortless shifting.
The X SYNC technology provides good performance, easy shifting, and silent operation. The Eagle technology allows a light, simple, durable transmission, which is easy to maneuver and keeps the chain keeps stable at all times. Besides, this mountain bike derailleur brings a cage lock that makes wheel removal easier.
This new Sram GX derailleur does not only answers the Eagle® drivetrain®s need for bigger capacity, but it´s also the next evolution of SRAMs proven, 1x-specific X-Horizon® design.
The larger, 14-tooth X-Sync® lower pulley allows 10- up to 50-tooth cassettes, and also contributes to the Sram Eagle®s overall smooth-pedaling feel.
Srams new, Type-3 Roller Bearing Clutch® features a smoother torque curve for a quieter, more consistent operation and feel.
The Cage Lock® has been moved back and out of the way, protecting it from trail debris.

Hi there, just reading the description of the Eagle GX 12 speed and it says it’s conpatible with 11-42T cassettes. I thought the GX series were conpatible with 10-50T and the NX was 11-42? Let me know if this is indeed the case as I would like to potentially get a 12spd that has a 10-50T range
