Good morning. I want to put a single speed on it but the one for core xd is too expensive for me. Would I use this adapter to put it in the xd core and put a single speed for HD? Thank you

Hi there, I'm not sure what you mean by "HD". All I know is that this item converts an SRAM XD hub to one that takes a few Sunrace cassettes. For details see link to YouTube video at the top of this page. The casettes are CSMZX1X, CSMZ91X https://www.tradeinn.com/bikeinn/en/sunrace-mz91-xd-pinion/139010040/p and CSMX9X: https://www.tradeinn.com/bikeinn/en/sunrace-mx9x-cassette/137705351/p The converted hub will not take Shimano HG cassettes and my understanding is that therefore it won't take the single speed cogs that I'm familiar with and (I think) you have in mind. I have quite a few single speed cogs but they only fit on Shimano HG splined hub, not the one you're looking at on this page. Hope this helps

Hi, frankly I would tell you not to get this adapter. I got it but it DOES NOT fit my bodice xd. Frankly, I don´t know what it could be used for, but try asking a specialized mechanic for information.

With this adapter could I install the Sunrace CSRX8 11V 11-42 cassette on an XDR hub?

I don't think it will fit. I think the Sunrace CSRX8 has the Shimano HG spline whereas the Sunrace adapter has a different spline. The only 11 speed Sunrace cassette that fits on an XDR hub comes standard with the adapter.

According to the SunRace website /spcs-adx/ the following 12 speed cassettes will fit: https://www.tradeinn.com/bikeinn/en/sunrace-mz91-xd-pinion/139010039/p https://www.tradeinn.com/bikeinn/en/sunrace-mz91-cassette/137215093/p as well as this 11 speed cassette: https://www.tradeinn.com/bikeinn/en/sunrace-mx9x-cassette/137705351/p Note, however, that the adaptor does not take Shimano HG cassettes. I stand to be corrected but the adaptor is only compatible with the above SunRace cassettes since the splines are different. However, according to this link: https://cache.tradeinn.com/images/pdf/especificaciones/eng_sunrace_specs_053027.pdf all cassettes mentioned above are supplied with the adaptor anyway. So, unless you want a spare adaptor, there is no need buy one separately.
