The Xpresso 7 is a great value as it is the only pedal in the Xpresso line to use a carbon body. The hollow steel axle is light and durable at the same time. The Iclic system is pre-opened design, making clipping in super easy. The XPRESSO 7 features carbon blade tension adjustment, a low stack height, and an oversized platform for pedaling efficiency and comfort.

I have used these pedals for years. They are easy to clip in and out, they are strong and weigh virtually nothing. I have had some issues issues however, bearings are one and one pedal has cracked but that pedal was over ten years old. This said I’m replacing the first Xpresso 6 pedals I purchased over ten years ago so I don’t have a problem replacing them with the same manufacturer. I have these pedals fitted to all my road bikes. They are a quality product not particularly expensive and very easy to live with. I would not use any other road pedal. I can recommend these pedals.

It is light and easy to fit cleats, and it has good left and right movement. The difficulty is that the SHIMANO pedal feels like it can be used forever, but the TIME pedal is a consumable item (^^).

NO, not directly. The TIME Expresso use a 3 Bolt cleat platform for Road/Race.. The Mavic Allroad Elite are a commuter shoe using the recessed platform for 2 Bolt SPD type cleats. You can buy adapters but better and easier to get the right combo.
