The lightweight hip belt can be removed.

When you´re on the approach, the belt helps transfer the load.

remove it for greater freedom of movement when you start climbing.

A large hydration bladder compartment can accommodate a shovel in winter, while the handle and probe can be attached separately.

Ergonomic shoulder straps offer an unrestricted range of movement in the FoM (Freedom of Movement) version.
